N2O Emissions Seminar
Breakfast Seminar before WEFTEC
We hope you will join us for our N2O Emissions Seminar during WEFTEC.
On 7 October at 7.30 am at The Westin New Orleans Canal Place, you can learn how to manage nitrous oxide emissions from your wastewater utility.
To prepare for your day at WEFTEC, you can hear talks from a consultant, a utility, and Unisense Environment on how you can measure, manage, and account for N2O emissions at your wastewater utility.
Program
You can learn more about the presentations and presenters below.
7.15: Arrival, coffee, breakfast
7.30: Presentations
- “Nitrous Oxide – Global Lessons for Utility Action” by Amanda Lake, Head of Carbon and Circular Economy at Jacobs, Water Europe
- “Implementing N2O Emissions Monitoring” by Kevan Brian, Technology Innovation Manager at Watercare Services, New Zealand
- “Part of the Process - Measure to kN2Ow” by Mikkel Holmen Andersen, CTO at Unisense Environment
8.10: Questions and panel discussion
8.30: Thank you for coming. Let’s go to WEFTEC.
The Presentations
Amanda will also share how utilities are working towards net zero emissions and how you can learn from their experiences.
Kevan will show you how nitrous oxide measurements have become an integrated part of the wastewater treatment process, how their utilities are working to reduce their climate footprint, and also share his experience from testing different emission measurement solutions.
Mikkel will guide you through the little maintenance needed and how you can integrate nitrous oxide measurements in your wastewater treatment process.
