Danish Eco-Innovation Program

Unisense Environment begins the Danish Eco-Innovation Program (In Danish: MUDP) along with DHI and Stjernholm. The program runs over the next one and a half year.

Project title: Development of a measuring unit for optimizing simultaneous aeration and nitrous oxide emission from wastewater treatment.

Project description: The project will test and validate an efficient measuring unit for the simultaneous measurement of aeration intensity and efficiency, and through model based calculations, to precisely establish the emission rate of nitrous oxide into the atmosphere.

The provision of online emission data from biological wastewater treatment plants will secure the minimization of nitrous oxide emissions along with optimal energy consumption, thereby minimizing the total carbon footprint.
