Project Start at Randers Wastewater Treatment Plant

We successfully installed the first integrated N2O Wastewater System with the Stjernholm A/S OXxOFF system at Randers wastewater treatment plant in Denmark.

The goal of the collaboration is to test and validate an efficient measuring unit that optimizes aeration while providing hassle free and precise emission rates of nitrous oxide.

The direct online aeration and emission data will secure an optimal ratio between aeration and energy consumption. At the same time, the wastewater treatment plant seeks to balance minimal nitrous oxide emissions. The end goal is to secure a minimal total carbon footprint from treating wastewater.
