Troubleshooting: Remove an Air Bubble
Depending on conditions during shipping and storage, microbubbles invisible to the eye can be stuck in the tip of the sensor. These will cause a faulty signal – often a sensor that is fixed at maximum or minimum value. To dislodge such air bubbles, shake the sensor as shown in the video.
Please note: A large air bubble is always found in the tip – it is part of the sensor construction.
